"I think it was the happiest year I have ever experienced. I made so
many friends and with these friends I got to know so many different
cultures. This was the best part about it.
Before I came to Japan, I thought that the purpose I was coming for was
just to study Japanese. But, after this year, I realized that the
meaning of studying abroad is to absorb different cultures. Especially
in NUPACE, young people from all over the world come together and share
a short part of their lives. This gave me a chance to look at my
beliefs from a new position. I was very happy in this short one year.
We made many great memories in this year. I just hope that we can all
meet again... Somewhere." (Li Chang)

"For all of you are deciding to apply for the NUPACE Scholarship
Program, I can only say that my time here in Nagoya has been filled
with a fine balance of an excellent education and great times with my
new international friends. This study abroad program allows for the
international exchange of ideas and values to flow freely in the
academic coarses set forth by NUPACE. For me, this was an invaluable
resource for the furthing of my international education. The
friendships built here in Nagoya were the key to the understanding of
others' cultures. It was through casual discussions with these
friends that I was truely able to understand their point of views.
This is a perfect opportunity to internationalize. Best of luck in
seizing it."
